At approximately 12:30 AM, a three vehicle accident occurred in the 4000 block of Log Cabin Dr at Rocky Creek Road, sending three people to the hospital for further medical attention.
In Macon, GA, 28-year-old Vareeka Baldwin was headed northbound on Log Cabin Drive with a passenger, Danielle Woods, when she attempted to change directions. She veered right as she approached a bridge that crosses over Rocky Creek leading her to collide with a guard rail. The impact pushed her car out onto the road in the direction of oncoming traffic.
When the impact pushed Baldwin’s care out onto the road, the Honda Accord hit a Lexus ES300 driven by 33-year old Brent Davis who was headed southbound on Log Cabin Road. At the same time, 19-year-old Patrick Allison was headed in the same direction as Davis, when he saw the accident scene, and he attempted to swerve around the scene in order to avoid the collision.
However, Allison missed, hitting both Davis’s and Baldwin’s cars.
Baldwin, Woods, and Davis were all sent to the hospital for their injuries at the Navicent Health Center. As of now, Baldwin and Davis have been reported to be in stable condition, Woods, however, is still in critical condition with no recent updates.
Allison was checked by EMT at the scene, but the injuries concluded didn’t require needed attention at the Navicent Health Center.
