Even with the most up-to-date, advanced automobile parts and technological features seen in cars today, the unpredictability of external interferences can put anyone at risk of a car accident. From the fault being from a 2nd party driver to inclement weather conditions, there are many determining factors that could lead you to experience a minor or even a fatal car accident that may require attorney assistance.
In this particular case, at approximately 11:00 a.m., two individuals, 19-year-old female Karey Teal and an unidentified male, fell victim to a pin-in wreck on J.R. Allen Parkway in Muscogee County in Columbus, GA.
The unidentified male was said to have swerved off J.R. Allen Parkway, heading east on the highway, eventually, slamming into a tree. The car accident resulted in major injuries to the male counterpart, resulting in a currently ongoing recovery at Piedmont Columbus Midtown Hospital. However, the passenger, Karey Teal, suffered blunt force trauma from the car accident, resulting in her being pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death is still under investigation, as is the cause of the accident. However, due to the rainy weather that day, slippery roads play a role as a determining factor in the car accident’s current investigation.
