WHERE DO I GO FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT AFTER A CAR ACCIDENT?

By Ben Sessions on November 27th, 2017 in Uncategorized

After a car accident, your first priority must be getting the medical treatment that you need. All too often, people involved in an accident are worried about who the police believe to be at fault for an accident and what certain witnesses said about how the accident occurred. These are legitimate concerns but they are miniscule in comparison to the importance of you getting the medical care and treatment that you need following an accident. Get the medical care that you need before worrying about other problems involving your car wreck case.

SO, WHERE DO I GO TO GET MEDICAL TREATMENT AFTER A CAR WRECK?

  • The first place that you should go if you have been injured in a car wreck is the hospital. Get transported by EMS, and go there. Failure to do so will inevitably lead to questions about the serious of your injuries do the road.
  • Follow up with your primary care provider upon release from the hospital.
  • If you do not have a primary care provider, go to an urgent care facility or back to the emergency room.
  • If you have soft tissue injuries, consider the care of a reputable chiropractor.

If you do not have health insurance (and many of our injury clients do not), work needs to be done in order to help you get the care that you need. We have written about the various means of funding health care treatment previously.

If you need help identifying how you can obtain treatment after a car accident, contact The Sessions Law Firm today. We will do our best to help you find a solution that works for your case.
