What county has the most workers compensation claims in Georgia?

By Ben Sessions on December 19th, 2022 in Workers Compensation

It is difficult to determine which county in Georgia has the most workers’ compensation claims, as this information may not be readily available or may not be collected in a consistent manner. Workers’ compensation claims are generally filed with the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation, which handles claims for injuries or illnesses that occur on the job or that are work-related. The board does not maintain data on the number of claims filed in each county, so it is not possible to determine which county has the most claims.

It is worth noting that the number of workers’ compensation claims filed in a given county may depend on a variety of factors, including the size and nature of the local economy, the number and types of businesses operating in the area, and the prevalence of hazardous working conditions.

If you have been injured on the job or have developed an occupational disease and are considering filing a workers’ compensation claim in Georgia, it is important to consult with a workers’ compensation attorney to discuss your rights and options. An attorney can help you navigate the claims process and ensure that your claim is properly filed and handled.
