State of Georgia V. R.G.
Chatham County State Court (Savannah, GA)
Far too often arresting officers are looking for ways to arrest people by stretching DUI laws beyond what most people think they would apply to. At Sessions & Fleischman, we fight to protect your rights. Our client in this case was pulled over for speeding. This Georgia State Patrol officer proceeded to arrest our client for suspicion of DUI of alcohol and marijuana. Following a blood test it was revealed that our client had a blood alcohol content of .077 and inactive metabolites of marijuana.
Following a preliminary hearing on probable cause to bind this case over for a trial, our client’s DUI charge was dismissed.
